I had a teacher who I really connected to. I'm in ELL and he did everything possible to help me. I f not his help, support and encouragement, I would have failed that class. And he moved away yesterday. He moved to another state. I was feeling so terrible about it that I was close to tears. And he said a lot of comforting things to me like you'll do alright, and stay the way you are and that he really enjoyed me in his class. And I really, really wanted to tell him how much I'll miss him and how much he meant to me. But I didn't want to start crying in front of him and the whole class.. I never said goodbye and now I regret it for not doing whatever it took to let him know.

I know as a teenager we all go through a grey phase where all we want is solitude and yeah, it's okay but its overdose is dangerous. Locking yourself in your room and listening to depressing music all the times won't solve anything you know. your current problems are nothing in comparison to what awaits in the future when you're all grown up. Scarring your body permanently just to keep them off your mind temporarily isn't smartness. Have you ever tried talking it out to your parents? No, I assume. your excuse, they don't understand you... have you ever done a decent attempt to explain it?
